So i've been talking to my good friend max about trying to make a book. we havent really decided on a theme, but i was thinking maybe just something simple like... waterford? im not sure. what do you think?

I have decided to write a couple entries from this book i have been reading. i believe it may be helpful to some.

I.

What is rooted is easy to nurish.
what is recent is easy to correct.
what is brittle is easy to break.
what is small is easy to scatter.

prevent trouble before it arises.
put things in order before they exist.
the giant pine tree
grows from a tiny sprout.
the journey of a thousand miles
starts from beneath your feet.

Rushing into action, you fail.
Trying to grasp things, you lose them.
forcing a project to completion,
you ruin what was almost ripe.

II.

Fill your bowl to the brim
and it will spill.
keep sharpening your knife
and it will blunt.
chase after money and security
and your heart will never unclench.
care about people's approval
and you will be their prisoner.

Do your work, then step back.
The only path to serenity.

Ohh my it was party time last night. Max was looking good all night. i just wanted to eat him up. after drinkin a little bit i guess allison looked alright too... went to sleep early and missed all the good stuff. i was tired and drunk though. what do you expect?

Tonight Chinese food saved my life. It was 1:00am and i was ooooohhhh so hungry and what do you know?... there it was tasty almond chicken and chicken fried rice waiting for me ever so peacefully. My my my was it delicious.

I love getting taxes back. Its so refreshing knowing that within 4 weeks ill be getting over 700 dollars deposited directly into my bank account. That also means that ill soon be getting a brand new iMac to help me once again take over the world.
